Board of Commissioners<\/h3>\n

Composed of ten members: the Mayor and nine Commissioners. The Macon-Bibb Commission is the legislative branch of the Macon-Bibb County Government. This body enacts the laws, ordinances, and resolutions for local consolidated government. Commissioners are elected every four years and may serve three terms.<\/p>\n

The Macon-Bibb County Commission meets in Commission Chambers at City Hall (700 Poplar Street) at 6:00 p.m. every 1st and 3rd Tuesday of the month. The Committee of the Whole meets every 2nd Tuesday starting at 9:00 a.m. in the same location.<\/p>\n
